Giallinas Mansion - Historic mansion for sale Corfu

Rare property for sale in Kavalouri village, north Corfu, Greece. This 16th century mansion was once owned by the great Greek artist, Angelos Gialllinas, also known as “The Artist of Corfu”.

The property includes a long rectangular group of historical buildings, about 80 meters, which parallels the main road of the village. It consists of a little tower, storerooms for olive and wine stretch, the main house, the stables and the olive press. The sum of the estate is about 800 sq. meters in total. An excellent example of Corfiot architecture. The whole structure is unique; the combination of the four different structures, the tower being the highlight, can be found nowhere else in Corfu.

All these within 70,000 sq. meters (18 acres) of marvelous Mediterranean land. The grounds include approx. 500 olive trees, fruit trees and pasture. A landscape so beautiful that Giallinas himself captured it in several of his paintings.
